Getting there

By Air:

Golden Bay Air operates flights from Wellington to Takaka 5 days a week in summer.  We are happy to provide transfers to and from Takaka airport.  For mored information, see www.goldenbayair.co.nz .

Driving Instructions:

  1. From Nelson, go to Richmond and get on State Highway 60.
  2. Follow Highway 60 through Motueka, over the Takaka Hill and on to the end of Highway 60, just outside Collingwood.
  3. At the end of Highway 60, turn left towards Farewell Spit (not right to Collingwood).
  4. Take the first right, over a small bridge, towards Farewell Spit.
  5. After about 8 km you will see the Twin Waters Lodge sign on the right.
  6. Turn right into Totara Avenue: Twin Waters Lodge is the first building on your right.
